The environment - and what we do for it

Water

Water is an expensive commodity so we use it sparingly! We keep our water consumption as low as possible - and the lower the water consumption of the industrial dishwasher, the lower the consumption of washing chemicals and energy.

What do we do?

Keep water consumption to a minimum. Only a small amount of fresh water is injected per cycle - the wash water is continually recycled.

Chemistry

Many ingredients (alkalis, silicates, phosphates, etc.) are potentially harmful to the environment - but hygienic dishwashing simply isn't possible without chemicals.

What do we do?

  • Use automatic dosing units to treat water with optimal dosage: this allows minimal dosage
  • Intensive customer consultation to determine the optimum solution for the dishwashing problem
  • Reduction of phosphate discharge into waste water by using products containing a low phosphate percentage
  • Dosing dependent on water hardness
  • Some use of phosphate substitutes

Energy

Energy is required to heat the water, because hygienic cleaning is only possible with hot water. Optimum energy consumption does not just protect the environment - it also minimizes your operating costs.

What do we do?

  • Interlocking of the heating systems - thereby reducing connection ratings
  • Alternative heating methods: as an option, heating can be carried out using low-pressure steam instead of electrical power
  • Exhaust air heat recovery: Energy is removed from the exhaust air and used to preheat incoming cold water

What can you do?
Use detergent and rinse aid from the same manufacturer - this ensures that the products are fully compatible and can be used sparingly and effectively.

Food and drink residue and other waste do not belong in your dishwasher. Please rinse all dishes first to ensure the wash water stays cleaner for longer.

Use environmentally friendly detergents such as Biopur. Biopur is an extremely strong detergent, enzymatic and pH-neutral in the waste water.

Buy high-quality kitchen equipment from brand-name manufacturers - products which have to be discarded early are harmful to the environment.
